This tool is designed and manufactured to accurately face frame and fork disc brake mounts. The compacity eases the installation and use ont frames with limited clearance. The dual-cutter system allows machining of both mounting posts simulaneously, ensuring perfect flatness and parallelism. The new generation of cutters enables machining of steel, aluminum, magnesium, and carbon fiber. The carrying case contains the tool, two sets of two cutters, and various adapters to ensure compatibility with different thru-axle and quick-release standards. WARNING : The use of CD-77000 cutting fluid is mandatory for machining metals (except carbon fiber) to ensure finish quality and maintain the sharpness of the cutters.
@P@This latest generation of disc brake mount facing tool is designed and manufactured to face the brake mounts on the frame and fork, ensuring their flatness for precise caliper alignment with the rotor.
- Faces all types of IS, Post Mount, and Shimano Flat Mount (Front Mount and Rear Mount), including hard-to-reach areas located on the chainstays.
- Includes 4 surfacing cutters: 2 x CD-14527 (13mm) for IS Mount and 2 x CD-14526 (20mm) for Post Mount and Flat Mount.
- Both two cutters rotate simultaneously for fast and precise machining.
- Both mounting surfaces are faced simultaneously to guarantee parallelism and flatness in a single operation.
- CNC precision machined and laser-cut parts.
- The new cutters provide better chip removal. A high-tech coating ensures long-lasting durability of the cutters.
- Provided in a case.
- Must be used with CD-77000 cutting oil.
