To help you create the workshop of your dreams, VAR offers you its new 3D workshop configurator, where you can set up your room, add furniture, include various equipment, and finally customize your workspace.
Before anything else, it is important to identify your needs, understand your constraints, and ask yourself a number of key questions.
Below you will find a (non-exhaustive) list of important points to consider.
Before starting with the 3D configurator, I take all the measurements of my space, not forgetting obstacles such as columns, technical ducts, pipes, beams, baseboards, etc.
I make sure to correctly mark all the room’s openings (doors, walkways, windows, etc.) and their correct dimensions (width, height, etc.).
Once this is done, all that’s left is to transfer everything into the 3D configurator.
For two mechanics, for example, three repair stands could be used: one double stand PR-90200 and one single stand PR-90100.
The foam inserts allow you to quickly identify and find your tools.
Panels equipped with MO-52060 racks and hooks let you arrange your most frequently used tools, for example.
We offer a MO-52608 stainless steel sink with the option to connect it to your existing water system.
Make sure to equip each element with MO-52071 adjustable feet to achieve perfectly level and stable work surfaces and structures.
Installing a tall cabinet would interfere with the use of the CR-07699 truing stand.
Thanks to the depth of its diagonal, the MO-52606 corner cabinet is perfectly suited for using a wheel truer and the tools required for wheel assembly and maintenance.
However, you can also install it at a 90° angle on a standard lower unit equipped with a tool panel.
A furniture setup with a depth of 69 cm allows the truing stand to be positioned anywhere in the workshop.
We recommend using stainless steel work surfaces to make cleaning the workstation easier. Adding a MO-52608 sink is also possible, and it can be connected to a NL-79300 used oil collector.
The beech option is also available; in that case, we recommend using MO-52073, MO-52074, or MO-52085 workbench mats.
The use PR-89100, PR-89200 electric repair stands or PR-90400 / PR-90450 belt hoists is highly recommended.
We also offer battery storage cabinets to protect against battery fires and explosions (Lithium-Ion).
Our high-capacity 1- and 2-door tall cabinets MO-52601 and MO-52611 can accommodate your workshop consumables, spare parts, and excess stock.
Each wall cabinet (MO-52621, MO-52622, and MO-52623) can accommodate a MO-52050 LED strip, which can be plugged into a power outlet.
Our furniture accessories allow you to arrange your workspace as you wish (paper roll holders, bin trays, hooks, racks, shelves, cups, workbench mats, storage foams, etc.).
Work surfaces are available in beech or stainless steel, in four configurations: single unit, two-unit, three-unit, and corner unit.
MO-52310 mobile parts washer provides efficient and fast cleaning/degreasing of components.
Its mobile stand allows it to be moved anywhere in the workshop.
It requires an electrical connection to keep the cleaning solution at the correct temperature.
MO-52603 can cabinet accommodates a 25-liter plastic bin, a NL-78800 paper roll holder, and a storage drawer.
Each tool panel can be equipped with a wallcabinet accessory with a storage capacity of 15 kg.
The tool panels of the corner unit can also accommodate a tall corner wall cabinet.
We offer three different workshop tool chests—MO-52607, MO-50800, and MO-52609—to meet all your needs.
The MO-52607 tool chest can be integrated under a work surface.
We also offer the possibility to customize your own tool chest.
MO-52092 and MO-52093 frames can accommodate two or three floor cabinets, complemented by their tool panels and wall cabinets.
The small-sized MO-52073 mat is ideal for tasks requiring little space, while the MO-52074 mat protects the surface of a lower unit.
MO-52085 mat is perfectly suited for a deep 69cm worktop.
MO-51000 anti-fatigue tiles allow you to cover any surface of your choice while enhancing your work comfort.
The tiles can be cut to fit snugly against your walls, and the black or blue edges help define your work zones and make it easier to move wheeled objects around.
Each floor cabinet and tool chest comes with its own unique lock key.
